Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Lansing is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lansing follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If I could give an organization negative stars, I swear I would! This swim club is a joke! For starters, there is 0 communication!!! Tonight there was supposed to be practice at 6pm for level 2 swimmers (they swim weekly tues-thurs). I drop my child off and the doors are locked. I text the head coach, Casey and she's saying there is no swim practice this week due to the holiday. So because July 4th is Friday, the practices are canceled the entire week, tues-thurs despite the holiday falling on friday?? Make it make sense. Of course this was NEVER communicated. They have everyone's phone numbers as well as emails and yet they Failed to say anything about there being no practice this week! I sent Casey a message back asking if this was communicated. Of course, she refused to answer the text back! Lol This is not the first time they have done this either. Every week it's something. The week before last there was no practice because they had a "meeting". The week prior to that, a fundraiser event came up and they sent a last minute email saying there wouldn't be practice because of an event they had at culvers, literally not even a 24 hr notice. There's always an excuse for them to no
